Hi guys,
I just installed p3dv4. Had p3dv3 + c182 before. Uninstalled P3dv3 C182, clean install with all folders deleted. New install on P3dv4 using the new installer, v18.12.31.0. At the end of install, both DX install and autoupdater ran fine. GTX770 on Nvidia drivers 376.33.
Launching the aircraft at night and opening 2d windows I see uneven lighting (some top half only lighted, others have fields ok and others not ok), mix between daylight-style and nighlight-red.
Antivirus off, dynamic lightning on/off, HDR on/off, AA on/off, nothing seems to change it.
Could someone point it out what did I done wrong? Never had any issue with the C182 in P3D.

Re: 2D windows night light problem
Hi drumelo and welcome.
You didn't do anything wrong, but unfortunately this uneven (and changeable) lighting of the 2-D gauge elements seems to be an issue which Lockheed Martin have introduced with v4.4 of Prepar3D. It also affects 2-D gauges such as GPSes in some of the default aircraft.
Hopefully it'll be addressed when v4.5 is released.
Thanks,
Nick

Hi Nick,
Thank you for the fast return on this.
Understood, lets see what comes out on v4.x! At least no more reinstallations on here!
Back to flying!
Thanks and cheers,
Drumond

Re: 2D windows night light problem
Just a reminder that as its P3D bug its worth posting on the Lockheed P3D support forums to report the issue to the team, similar to how you have done here. Lockheed P3D team run an active forums similar to we do here so its worth posting.
thanks,

Re: 2D windows night light problem
Hi Lewis, good suggestion.
I went there and we have a fairly recent thread on that (link for it below). I will follow up on that one, try the same procedures before pitching in.
