First Norwegian repaint: LN-TRE

Post by AviationNorway »

Hi folks!
Just sharing my first repaint (LN-TRE) for the beautiful C182.
LN-TRE is ofcourse a C182, and is she is based at ENNO Notodden Airport in Norway.

This is how she looks in real life:

Good job! But tell me, how did you get rid of 'EXPERIMENTAL' on the fuselage and the red sticking plaster over the grounding port? It's puzzling me!

Ron, Al has a thread in the repainters section on this...I did a quick base coat repaint and there are no experimental tags etc

Ignore me. It shows up in ModelConverterX but not in FSX. Very odd, but panic over. :D

The "Experimental" only appears with the two-blade prop. If you use the three-blade prop, you don't see it.

Holy poop, I couldn't tell where the real-world photos ended and the sim screenshots started for a moment!

Nice job. Incidentally, anyone know why yellow is such a nice color on airplanes? I can't stand it on cars. ;)
