Hello There,
I need someone to guide me on how I can integrate the GNS430 and the GNS530 GPS in my C172 trainer. When I go on the A2A C172 Aircraft Configurator-FSX and i pick the GPS, Realtyxp, and sellect the 430 or the 530 or both, when I launch the FSX steam game and select the C172 trainer aircraft, i am able to see the GNS430 and the GNS530 GPS on the dashboard, whoever does not function.
I need to know on how i can get these units to work?
Thanks,
George (Pilot582)

Hello George,
first thing to ask is that are the third party RXP GPS units you own working in other aircraft you have them installed in?
thanks,
Lewis

Hello,
you will need to own the third party GPS units in order to have the integration into the cockpit.

Re: GNS430 and GNS530 On C172 Trainer
Hi to all, I have A2A Connie installed in FSX and also in P3Dv4.5 (same machine). Both birds working as a charm nice flight. Recently I found I have Aircraft Configurator on both sim but they have GPS with different units to select. From FSX listing I can pick the Flight1 650 or 750. I don't see Flight1 GNS430 as in P3D configurator. How to add the 430 in FSX (manually)? I think I purchased the 430-530 mistakenly. I should buy the 650-750 which can work for FSX and P3D. Any other ideas about?

Hi Patricio,
However, all these aircraft in P3Dv4 support the Flight1 GNS 430. The 172 and 182 supports the GNS 530 too, but this unit is too big for the mounting option in the L-049.
I'd recommend you start a new thread in whichever tech support forum is appropriate if you're having problems setting up a third-party GPS.
Thanks,
Nick
I'm a bit unclear about which plane you're referring to as you mention the Connie but this reply is tagged onto a 4 year old post in the 182 forum that refers to the 172.

Thanks Nick for your advice and recommendation. I was talking about Connie (A2A L-049 Constellation).
