C182 Flight Characteristics vs c172. Discuss

I don't know anything about the expected behaviours of these two aircraft but I am enjoying the feel of the 182 and mentally comparing them to the 172.
For example, on final approach I really seem to notice how much lift the wing maintains until quite slow.
Also it seems the 182 doesn't side slip as much. I need to do more comparison time in this situation.
