GTN for P3D
GTN for P3D
I'm a P3D user and I want to use the F1 GTN in this bird, should I buy the P3D version from the Flight1 Technology (http://www.flight1tech.com/Products/Avi ... 1TGTN.aspx)? Does the C182 support it?

Re: GTN for P3D
Is it possible installing and using them all in the C182? -> GTN650,GTN750, RXP430 and RXP530 the same time by switching in "Shift+3" panel?

Hello Nico,
no for the different brand units you have to switch using the aircraft config tool and then use shift+3 to switch between the options.
thanks,
Lewis

thanks for response.
So if i get it right i am able to install and use that four add ons within your 182 -> GTN650 and GTN750 and RXP430 and RXP530 but have to decide either GTN or RXP is to preselect within the A2A config tool ?
I have to decide prior starting my P3D which add on i want to use for the next P3D session in my 182 selectable within Shift+3 panel via config tool? -> Prior C172 gave me the chance to switch between the stock panels delivered by A2A or my RXP430 or my RXP 530 per Shift+3 panel within one FS session.
Will it be able to switch between GTN 650 and 750 in game via Shift+3 panel when preselected (F1 GTN) within the config tool?
Will it be able to switch between RXP 430 and RXP530 in game via Shift+3 panel when preselected (RXP) within the config tool?
Kind regards,
Nico

Re: GTN for P3D
AFAIK, a GTN and RXP install won't work together in the same panel..they conflict. You have to use either the GTN or the RXP.
If you are going to P3D, RXP won't work at all(not compatible). GTN will be your only choice.

Re: GTN for P3D
Hello Nico,
no the models are brand dependent so you switch as you normally would between what units you have of the same brand. And yes RXP is not P3D compatible.
thanks,
Lewis
