Looks great - now an Army and Air Force - wonder if the U.S. Coast Guard had one of these in their Hanger :-)

Not too sure, although I know trucker17 did a USCG scheme for the 172 here. I think I can get one together, though

And...she's done!

Download here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8ki6c64mc0cqx ... G.zip?dl=0 (note: tweaked a bit from the original version - moved number/base designation forward to accommodate static port, minor clean up of some things. Anyone who's downloaded already may want to get the updated version that's available now).

Man that was quick

Nice paint. I like the little "danger" sticker and arrow that point towards the porpeller :D

Thanks!

Thanks! The nice thing (for making quick repaints, anyway!) about modern military liveries (at least in the U.S.) has been the move toward less complicated lines and designs. Even if you look at the camo schemes, they're relatively straightforward, and because the curves aren't precise or uniform symmetrically, you can end up with something that looks great without worrying too much about lining everything up just right.

Wow - that was fast - even though I was a ship driver for 22 years in the service - will happily fly this baby in my retirement -- thanks

I like how you painted the leading edge of the wing, as if it has deicing boot. Cool livery, thanks for sharing.

USAF ver. is it going to be updated for Preparv3?

P.S. I got it to work. I love it (retired AF).
