ME LIKEY
I've been eyeing the gtn750 for a while and have been playing with the free garmin trainer software for the past couple of days. It's pretty amazing and NOW coupled with your 182 .
Now off to read the 182 manual

Re: Stock ad 3rd Party Avionics Options
Hello All, Extremely excited here as I wait for the release of the 182... One question, I have the C172 with stock GPS 400. Which one of the after market options would you recommend from someone transitioning from the 400, I am also looking for something that is realistic to have in a 182 that is FSX and P3D compatible.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Re: Stock ad 3rd Party Avionics Options
The Mindstar and Flight1 GTN are compatible in both platforms
For realism, the F1 is based on the Garmin GTN Trainer as is the Reality XP(no P3D though)
Really a tough call, but My choice will be the Flight 1 GTN as it is newer avionics to go with the newer airplane

In the second image with the stock GPS 295, what is the gauge hidden behind it? It's only in that picture.

Re: Stock ad 3rd Party Avionics Options
It actually shows up in the sixth and seventh images as well. I looked it up and it seems to be a Hobbs hour meter.G-BJPS wrote:In the second image with the stock GPS 295, what is the gauge hidden behind it? It's only in that picture.

EDIT: Nevermind, I see now what you're referring to
Re: Stock ad 3rd Party Avionics Options
That the Mindstar GNS is choosen as option for this aircraft, does that mean that it's now working properly? I mean, no more CTD on loading...well, anything. IFR flight being available?
Re: Stock ad 3rd Party Avionics Options
For me the Mindstar is not fully functional in P3dv2.xx, I've always had ctd's "runtime errors" when using a flight plan, and is not much better than the basic GNS.
I will get the Garmin/Flight1 GTN 750 when the 182 is available.
The RXP was the better unit, but only works in FSX, and I've moved to P3d, so it's nice to see some better add-ons for P3d, and great A2A are supplying it as an option.

Re: Stock and 3rd Party Avionics Options
Are any combos available?
1. For FSX - The Reality XP GNS530 and GNS430 or
2. For P3D - Flight1 GTN750 and GTN650
These are common combo in both real world and many add ons.
This combo of the GTN 750/650 in P3D would be my first choice of a full panel. (A cut and paste image)

Ray

Hey Ray,
Not with release but it's being looked into. If/when this is created it will be added via our Accu-sim updater.
Thanks,
