True, it would require a lot of work, but if A2A plans on doing another float plane sometime, they have to start somewhere. Something they can rent and have access to. Being that the Skylane has a bigger hamster wheel under the hood than the Skyhawk make it a little better candidate for floats too. I think the 182 airframe is a perfect 'swiss-army knife' kind of airframe to do all sorts of post release addon stuff, be it a Bush package, RG package, Turbo package....whatever. Any addon package would require loads of extra work of course and it would be up to A2A to decide how far they want to go with it.
