Avro 504 installation

Post by jerry812 »

I purchased and installed the Avro 504 on my computer and lost control of ALL my throttles on every other aircraft in my system. I have tried numerous reboots and eventually uninstalled the Avro and still have no control over the throttles on the other aircraft. I have tried recallibrating with no luck. How can I restore my computer without reinstalling the FSX program? Jerry

Hello,

Please look at other things as the installation of the Avro will not have caused this at all (it's technically impossible) hence it's uninstallation not having any affect.

What else has changed in your system recently, I'd look at any recent changes esp to controller drivers or mapping tools.

Thanks,
Lewis

Thank you for the response. I have not made any changes to anything. I have several A2A aircraft in my (hangar) and they all operated correctly. My all time favorite is the 377 Strat. I seems that only the throttles are affected. It started when I first flew the Avro. I thought it might be a characteristic of the rotary engine because I had to wiggle the throttle to keep it open for a climb. I might next try a restore on my computer and see if that helps.

Jerry, we used only default FSX systems for the plane and she does not have any extra controls mapping due to having a rotary engine.
Just a note - make sure that the fuel tank is selected (it is off by default) - have a look on the lever on the left side of the cockpit. Check the throttle animations by moving it using mouse or keyboard and check if the a-c systems are working. I hope that you will get things sorted of.

Also check you haven't changed your default flight.

Thanks,
