Hi Guys,
I have recently developed an issue with the Cherokee parking brake...
I have it assigned to a joystick button and now when I put on the parking brake, within a second or 2 it immediately disengages. I can put it back on and alas the cycle starts again
I have deleted and reassigned to no avail and I cannot find anything interfering with it. I have not changed anything for this to suddenly start.

Re: Parking Brake
Hi Dave,
If you're using axes (such as toe brake axes on rudder pedals) for your brakes, this is almost certainly what's causing the parking brake to disengage. By default, the parking brake in FSX/P3D will disengage whenever brake inputs are detected, so if your brake axes are sending slight inputs or 'spikes' to the sim, you'll see exactly the behaviour you describe.
If so, recalibrating the brake axes and/or adding a slight dead zone should enable you to fix the issue.
Thanks,
Nick
