Hi guys,
When my Cherokee 180 is running and the switches StrobeLights and Rotating Beacon are ON,
I see in the spotview the strobe lights flashing but the red light on the tail is still off.
All fuses are 100%. What do I miss ?
Regards, Leo, The Netherlands

Re: Cherokee 180 tail light doesn't work
Hi Leo,
Sounds like you simply need to switch on the "nav and inst. lights" switch (the green one). The external navigation lights on the wing tips and tail should come one when the switch is dragged to the up or down position. Which of these positions you choose will also determine the brightness of the cockpit instrument lights.
Thanks,
Nick

Re: Cherokee 180 tail light doesn't work
No, I tried both. Bright and DIM.
Same result.
She had a complete maintenance and her status is "perfect"
But I have the same issue with the PA28 and the Commanche 250 I see.
My setup file = A2A_Cherokee_180_P3Dv4_Academic.exe (314 Mb) 17/06/2017
And the updater: A2A_Update_10_12_17.EXE (19Mb) 12/10/2017
And is installed in C:\Users\Leo\Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons\A2A\A2A\Cherokee180
It is not a big problem like Covid-19 but it is weird when you are flying with spotview.
Now I'm out of my suggestions, for now......
Have a nice weekend.

Re: Cherokee 180 tail light doesn't work
Hi Nick,
Yesterday I thought I found it.
The updater could not find the A2A_accusim.dll.
This was missing in the gauges. Fortunately it was still on my "old" sim and I put it in the gauges via a USB stick.
Run the updater again but no result.

Hi Leo,
Thanks for the extra info. You're actually using an outdated version of the installer so please can you download the current version from your account wherever you purchased, uninstall the Cherokee then reinstall with the new version. Provided your PC is connected to the internet, the latest installer will automatically obtain the latest updates.
Please see this pinned thread for more info on Accu-Sim updates for our P3Dv4 aircraft.
Thanks,
Nick
