My brother and I have just started trying Multiplayer within P3Dv5 using the Cherokee. We connect via Direct IP and both have the same versions of P3Dv5 and the A2A Cherokee, and generally everything works very well in a Shared cockpit. However we are having a few problems with the autopilot, if either of us select the Mode switch to move from ST HD Low Track etc my indicator will always be one behind although they both change instantaneously i.e. if he is in HD I will be in ST and visa versa. Also the flap lever doesn't seem to move if I operate the flaps when he is pilot flying. I operate the flaps from a switch on my X52 controller and the lever moves on my side but not on his aircraft.
Most other switches seem to work fine.
Are these bugs or just limitations of the P3D Multiplayer system

Re: Multiplayer with the Cherokee
Hello,
shared cockpit is not supported with the majority of add-on's for FSX or P3D. Rule of thumb is the more complex/realistic (Those that go outside the default relaxed realism and inject there own programming into the sim) the add-on the less compatibility the add-on has for shared cockpit with a couple of exceptions.
thanks,

Many thanks Lewis, that makes sense.
