I have a Piper Cherokee 180 P3D V3, Do I have to buy the PA28-180 V4 for the Prepar3d Version 4?

Hello and welcome.

No, if you've already purchased a Prepar3D licence for the Cherokee, it applies to v3 and v4. However, P3Dv4 is a 64-bit application and needs a different installer which can be downloaded for free from your account on the store.

One thing to bear in mind is that we migrated to a new web store a couple of years ago, so if you purchased before May 2018, please check out the info in this topic.

I bought the A2A PA28-180 add on aircraft thru SimShack before. Will I still be able to download the latest version I need thru SimShack?

Yes, we distributed the new P3Dv4 installers to all the third-party stores we use, so you should be able to log into your account over at SimShack and download the appropriate one.
