First, AWESOME aircraft! I love flying the Cherokee. I generated a new paint scheme, (well, for me anyway), and noticed that in the paint kit there are the nameplates(?) for the aircraft. One says "Piper" the other "Cherokee 180". I use ModelConvertX to verify the integrity of the repaint prior to loading P3D (4x).
In the model (in ModelConvertX) the name plate "Piper" is located just behind the rear window, the other nameplate "Cherokee 180" is located on the engine cowl.
When repainting this aircraft, I applied an Emboss to them and made them really pop!
Sadly, when I load the aircraft into P3D, although all of my other paints are awesome, these nameplates do not show up! Were they left out of the end product for some reason? Is there a way "we" can get them back? For one moment, in the aircraft selection window, I could have sworn they were there, but now they do not show up. Examples below.
Thanks!

Re: Was this left out on purpose?
Hi TB2,
The "Piper" and "Cherokee 180" emblems on the cowling and fuselage are actually a 3D part of the model and whether they're visible or not is controlled by a flag in the "model.ini" file which can be placed in the texture folder for each paint scheme.
[model]
PropellerModel = 0
FuselageEmblems = 1
The other variable refers to whether the spinner is painted or chrome.
Thanks,
Nick
