Sorry if this has already been addressed. I made an effort to look through as many GPS topics as I could find, but still need help.
On the 180, are the new GPS units fully installed or do you need to purchase separately to make them work? The only one I can get to operate is the default unit.
Is there a step by step instruction for us folk that need one on changing the cfg file for the 180?
Thanks for the help, and happy flying to all.
Tony

Re: Getting GPS to Operate
Hello Tony,
Other than the "default" GPS units which are installed by default, the other options are indeed for third-party products which can be be purchased separately.
As for your other question, I'm sorry but I'm not sure what you mean by "changing the cfg file for the 180".
Thanks,
Nick

Thank You Nick for the heads up on this, I thought as much...
Oh, I was asking where do I find the configuration file for the 180, must do better with descriptions.

Thanks Tony,
Do you mean the "aircraft.cfg" file which you can edit to install new customer-created paint schemes? If you can let us know exactly what it is you're trying to change (and which sim platform you're using) it'll be easier to help.
