Rudder sensitivity adjustments
Rudder sensitivity adjustments
I just upgraded my P3D to the latest version, 3.4, and ran into a small issue with my CH rudder pedals which I have had for years. I used to use the CH software, and now P3D recognizes the pedals without the software, so I go direct into P3D. Now my question is, I am wondering where people set the null zone and sensitivity for the rudder pedals so that a fairly stable takeoff run is possible without s turning on the runway. It seems that in the past, my rudder steering was a bit less sensitive, but now I am not sure that was normal. Just looking for suggestions.

Re: Rudder sensitivity adjustments
I had to make some changes for this plane. Have about 30 hours in it.
I use FSX:SE
Rudder Sensitivity 100%
Null Zone 12.5%
Taxi and takeoff with +0.5 rudder trim.

Re: Rudder sensitivity adjustments
With the CH pedals, I've only ever used FSX mapping no CH software. Always been pretty much plug and play for me BUT I did have to add deadzone to the brakes as they were detected they were on all the time after several years use of the pedals.
