Aircraft (parking)configuration not saved?

Post by liftwartbertl »

Is it normal that my Piper Cherokee 180 is not in the same (parking)configuration (wheel chocks, tie downs etc.) as I had left it after my preceding flight?

Usually it should load like you left it. At least mine does. How are you loading your flight? What is your standard flight?

Thanks for your reply. I just open FSX and start a "free flight" with the A2A Piper Cherokee."
"Mini controls": Is it correct to have AUTO-C&D in the ON position or should it be in the OFF position? Maybe that is the problem.

Auto C&D will set your aircraft to cold and dark each time you load it. Though remember some settings from the default flight will always carry over to your flight in some form or another.

thanks,

Yes, and whatever your default flight is too. Best bet is to save the flight and then load into it after loading a default aircraft, 2nd option is to check that default flight and check its a default aircraft set and saved in the way you want to load aircraft up in (in a general sense).

thanks,

What I did is the following. I moved the default C172 to a default airport. Then I turned everything off in the plane. Master, battery, magnetos, fuel and lights. I saved that flight as my default flight.

When I start a new session I go from the start screen to the airport I want to go to. Then I set the time to what I want it to be and load into the flight in the default aircraft. Once the sim is ready to go I switch to my Accusim aircraft of choice for that flight.

Hope that makes sense.

Happy flying
