I installed the Cherokee to my laptop when I bought it about a year ago. I want to move my sim to
My desktop now and want to know if I can move the folder to another hard drive and reinstall or do I need to purchase another Cherokee.

Hello you can just install on the new machine no problem using the aircraft installer. Don't forget to run the latest updater too.
