P3D Cherokee Landing light does not illuminate the ground

The P3D Cherokee seem to have the landing light misaligned. The light is visible in flight and on the ground, but the landing light does not illuminate the ground at all. Not while taxiing, or not during the flare. Also, the fuel imbalance is a problem in both the P3D and FSX. I have flown the aircraft from full tanks but when as little as 3 gallons is used, the aircraft banks
toward the heavy wing. I own a 180, and I can tell you, I can fly for hours before I see a leaning tendency.

thanks for the email. Just to check you are using the P3D Cherokee simulation and not the FSX version ported across?

Also that your P3D is updated to the latest version (currently 2.5 at the time of this post)

And you have ground light illuminate ground set correctly in your sim settings?

Regarding the 2.5 update we are going through the simulations checking for issues as it was only just released.

Don't know if this is related but when I installed my a2a 180 into p3d 2.5 today I did not get the enable question for the landing lights. I did get it for the 172. For the C182, I ran the aircraft configure program but the buttons wouldn't change when I clicked on them.

I think you might have some small issues with 2.5

you will want to make sure you run the config program as an administrator by right clicking and selecting run as admin.

Hi Lewis

Running as administrator worked to correct problem with the c182 aircraft configurator. The buttons are now clickable.

However I reran the latest update again (as administrator) to confirm that the option to enable the lights is only presented for the c172. As of now I do not see a way to enable the light option for the piper 180? The option used to be there.

Since p3d 2.5 is a complete clean install, I uninstalled all my addon aircraft. I reinstalled the a2a from the orginal download and then applied the latest 1/26/15 update.

Yes this is correct Terry, there is not the option in the updater.
