No Sound In 2D Panel View

Hi

I'm trying to use the P3D Cherokee in a home cockpit setup but when I switch to 2D cockpit view there's no sound. Is this a known issue?

Hi, if you want to enable the interior sounds for the "2D Cockpit" view go to the PANEL folder and edit PANEL.CFG file:

Make a safe copy before editing!

Find this line:

//gauge01=A2A_C172!cockpitBuilder, 2,2,2,2 //For cockpit builders only.

and uncomment it:

gauge01=A2A_C172!cockpitBuilder, 2,2,2,2 //For cockpit builders only.

The problem posted was for the Cherokee but the reply seems to be for the Cessna. I have no sound in 2D panel mode with my C172 in P3Dv2.3 with the latest A2A updates installed. Is the solution for me to edit the Config line mentioned above? Also you mention a C172 cockpit builders list, what is that and where can it be found?

Joe, none of t he A2A planes has sound in the 2D panel mode. If you had a peek at the panel.cfg file of the Cherokee you will find the similar line:

//gauge01=A2A_PA28!cockpitBuilder, 2,2,2,2 //For cockpit builders only.

to comment out. It's not that difficult to find out
