Post by mike4370 »

I just purchased the new piper Cherokee. do I also need to run the latest core update after installing the Cherokee or is that already included?

Piper is 2.0, but you will need to run 2.0 if you have other A2A planes.

I ran that update a few days ago, should I run it again since installing the Cherokee?

If the Cherokee is the only A2A A/C that you added: NO :) But be assured that it will not harm your installation if you do so...

ok I don't think I need to run the core update. I just flew my first flight with it and everything seems good. actually this airplane is really nice to fly. I have never flown a piper Cherokee IRL or in a sim and it was as if I had flown it many times before. I almost like it better than the 172 even though I have flown a 172 IRL. although the 172 does have a special place in my heart.
