Piper 180 problems

i have loaded the Piper 180. I have no sound inside aircraft. and the brakes donot work.

Where and exactly how should i load this plane to my files?

I have the same problem with my p51.

My 172 works like a charm.

Im just not computer savy enough....

Frankly, I cannot imagine anything else than to use the Installer the way it is intended. A few things however should always be noticed:
When istalling in todays modern OS like Win7 or 8, UAC MUST be set to lowest level, FSX MUST be run as ADMIN and the Installation MUST be performed using right click the EXE-File and select the "run as aministrator" option. Thids ensures proper operation of FSX. You should never forget that FSX has been developed at times where UAC was not used in GP OS'. Furthermore having an installation of FSX in the default directory "C:\Program Files (x86)" is almost a guarantee for any kind of problems with FSX.
Other than that I cannot imagine any problems when using the standard installer.

I have similar issues. Most items do not produce a sound, others produce a sound, but no animation (e.g. the little window does not move, but makes a noise).

When I open the extra-windows like Maintenance Hangar or Mini Controls, they seem to be hidden behind the main window.

I use the DX 10 Fixer and applied it after installation, re-installed the package using "run as administrator" etc, but no change. The C172 from A2A works like a charm, my other payware addons as well.

I used the little analysis and reporting tool and sent it to a2a, hope this can clarify the situation. If anyone has an idea already, please let me know.

Wow...my C172 works so well too.

My P51 and now this P180 just have major issues with sounds and other quirky stuff.

To pay for these and not be able to correct it really sucks.

My free download planes never have these issues.

Hello guys,

are your settings as set in the manual?

Also is your FSX updated to SP2?

And lastly, do you have al your sound devices turned on? The Accu-sim sounds will come through the default windows sound device, so if this isnt on you will hear no Accu-sim sounds.

After trying A LOT of things, de-installing the RealityXP add-on solved the issue for me. Nice airplane!

Not sure what is going wrong there, I downloaded and installed the new panel.cfg files, but this only avoided a CTD, the airplane remained unresponsive, pop-ups did not show etc....
