Over sensitive controls on Cherokee 180

Post by ahowes »

My joystick controls for this aircraft are excessively sensitive making it difficult to maintain correct attitude, bank etc.
I run P3d v4, ActiveSky, Spad.Next, FSForce with joystick.
All handled well in FSX, migrated to P3d about a year ago and have struggled ever since.
I have run the calibration routines in Spad.Next, tried with and without FSForce and ActiveSky but no joy.
Control sensitivity settings in P3d under 'simple' don't seem to remember and settings I give them, they go back to about halfway on all settings whatever I change them to.
All other areas of the 180 work just fine...
What am I missing here?
Any guidance much appreciated.
Many thanks

Hello,

so its a P3D issue of it not remembering the setting changes you give it?

Are you running P3D as admin?

thanks,

Yes, P3D is run as administrator.
Of note, the A2A freebie P-40 flies just fine, as does the standard P3D Maule...

Ok, but you mention that the setting changes you give in P3D are not saving?

So is this a Cherokee issue or is your P3D not saving your setting changes?

thanks,
