The only thing I can think of if your using photoshop is if you use the DDS converter or not or use the DXTBMP program however your saving your work... make sure that MipMaps are turned off when you save your work.

If that's not the problem then there's something in your paint program that is not set right and it's very hard to tell whats going without a picture.

Try to host the picture on somewhere like FlickR or photobucket or something like that and if you can't post it here then just send me a link or post the link here where it can be seen at one of those image hosting sites I just mentioned.

What plane are you painting?

I'll be back tomorrow sometime... have to give my computer a makeover.
Alan,

I am using Paintshop Pro 8X. The photo can be found here, I think. http://s446.photobucket.com/user/piper0 ... v.jpg.html

I am trying to do a repaint of the Cherokee. As you can see, in the upper fuselage side, the line was made on the horizontal and so it has a crisp edge. The line in the fuselage side on the bottom was made at angle and it has a ragged edge.

I tried to free rotate the fuselage so that the line would be horizontal, then paint the stripe, then free rotate the fuselage back to its original orientation but that did not work.

180:... OK thats going to be somewhere in your options when you select to draw a line.
Take a look at this video, start at around 4:00 min into the video and notice here in photoshop what I do to setup the line I'm working with. There has to be something in paintshoppro to allow you to do the same thing as I do in this video which should allow you to get a smoother looking line.

This is a great repaint. Would you mind uploading it again?

Thanks a lot!

N181AV: simply wonderful!
I'd like have it to be the favorite livery (but the download link is invalide, can you post again?).
However, I'm really impressive by your skill.

Is N181AV officially retired now? It might need to be removed from the freewarescenery.com repaint list if that's the case. I never had the pleasure of downloading it, and every time a new link goes up, it disappears quickly.
