Info On Airspeed Indicator

Post by jaybird1nyc »

Hi all,

I was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of getting a hold of the Knots version of the AI. I read the previous topics posted here, but it's not clear who to ask.

Even better, if anyone has the file(s) could you PM me and I'll reply with my email addy?

Thanks in advance,
Jay

Thanks, I have quite a few repaints already, some of them just happen to be yours
Fantastic work, btw, you are really knocking it out of the park.

Thanks Jay, thinking about it further though, it may have been a different ASI mod, but not really sure and I couldn't find it in the repaints sections.....If there is a fix it would be nice to have it available, although I'm quite used to going back and forth between MPH and Knots now :D

Actually this is something I'm very interested in too - you'll be hard pressed to find anything that says 'MPH' in Sweden, so the numbers are clashing with what I remember ;)

That was the thread I referred to in my OP. It just wasn't clear who would actually send the file.

I pm'd Brett, but I haven't heard back yet.

I know that A2A has stated it's considered simply a 'repaint', and they have no issue with it being posted.

I received the files from Brett some time back. He did not give any instructions but this is what I did:

Backed up the three files by the same name in
Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\A2A_Piper_PA28_180_Cherokee\texture
directory

Copied the three new files to the folder.

After that I had a knots gauge.

I put the zip file on my drop box at

https://www.dropbox.com/s/8ve07t1q48084na/Files.zip

Good Luck

Thanks Brett, great mod, put it up on my dropbox as well, would need written permission to post it to avsim as it's your work, if you want it there to take the load off of your email
