Albury to Bathurst via Canberra

Post by Goughy »

A wonderful 3 hour afternoon cross country flight that completes the first third of a flight spanning the whole mainland east coast of Australia from Phillip Island (YPID) to Cooktown (YCKN).

Below the screenshots I'll type the route I'm taking, it's going to be a wonderful trip with stunning scenery.

Preflight @ Albury with a mere 4.5hrs on the hobbs

Great shots. I fly Australia most of the time. I circumnavigated in the 172 and I am currently at YOOD Oodnadatta preparing for a three hour hop to YAYE Connellan (Ularu). Have not got into doing screenies, maybe it is something I should look at.....?

Hot damn, wish I could get my sim to look that good. Love the paint, too.

Great looking screen shots. Is that FSX with addon scenery, or P3D? It's a pity that you couldn't do it in an Aus registered Cherokee, though.

Do you have a link for the Cherokee? The paint is superb, and being a Brit the G- registration is good for me ;-)

Thanks all! :)

Mike, this is FSX "ORBXified", using AU SP4, Canberra Cityscape and Bathurst airport, as well as Shade and ENB series for the colouring (straight out of the sim, no editing). And yeah, I can't find a VH- repaint which is a little frustrating, I was hoping there'd be one out by now.

ggi, the paint is a repaint that comes straight from A2A, it is in the RTM version, not a user repaint :)

Cheers,

Jordan
