Vielen Dank, thanks a lot for the positive remarks,

i still modified just a view little things and now i am satisfied with the repaint (at my level). It is realy tricky with the alpha channels and the specular file. The final download version is v1.8!

Btw, i love the airplanes from A2A, especially the "AccuSim-System" with the vibrations and the engine sound and stutter. It makes it even more realistic and enjoyable during flight.

So always check the oil level...
Many greetings from Raller

Beautiful job Jan Kees.

How do you do it churning out one paint after the other?

Looks good. It's nice to see paints still being done for the Cherokee. It's one plane your keep coming back to. :D

Have picked up many of these great paints. Thanks for the work painters!

I have one post in the request repaints topic if anyone has time to do it. Shouldn't be too hard to make, I just don't have PS or the knowledge on how to use it.

Thanks!

I just installed the Cherokee, Comanche, 182, and T-6 for V4 yesterday.

I notice some repaints won't install. Now I know nothing about this stuff, I just install them but I did some experimenting and saw in the config for one of them, the Cherokee (forget which livery) it had one word that if I removed it it now loaded, it was emblem, I think.

Also, I see they have more files than the default ones so I experimented and kept just the files of the repaints that had the same extensions on them.

So some seem to install, others don't.

Here it is:

[fltsim.XX]
title=Piper Pa-28-180 Cherokee N9476J
sim=PA28_180
model=emblem
panel=
sound=
texture=N9476J
kb_checklists=
kb_reference=
atc_id=N9476J
ui_manufacturer="A2A Piper"
ui_type="PA28-180 Cherokee"
ui_variation="N9476J"
ui_typerole="Single Engine Prop"
ui_createdby="A2A Simulations Inc."

And no matter what I did I couldn't get this livery to install:

a2a_pa28_n2442c.zip

Thanks.

Looks like its just an older repaint with the emblems, this was changed shortly after Cherokee release.

thanks,

Thanks Lewis, so I just have to look for that word, delete it and repaints should be ok?

What about the other files? These are from texture.N2442C for the Cherokee.
