The Piper manuals are quite sparse compared to the other types. The checks you can get in the Shift + 2 panels for your aircraft, the walk around comes with its own checklists as you go around.

Hi Matthew,

Time to copy & paste from the Pilot's Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge:

Originally, flight manuals followed whatever format and content the manufacturer felt was appropriate, but this changed with the acceptance of Specification No. 1 prepared by the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA). Specification No. 1 established a standardized format for all general aviation airplane and helicopter flight manuals.

The POH for most light aircraft built after 1975 is also designated as the FAA-approved flight manual. The typical AFM/POH contains the following nine sections: General; Limitations; Emergency Procedures; Normal Procedures; Performance; Weight and Balance/Equipment List; Systems Description; Handling, Service, and Maintenance; and Supplements. Manufacturers also have the option of including additional sections, such as one on Safety and Operational Tips or an alphabetical index at the end of the POH.

The Cherokee 180 fits the first paragraph; the C172 & C182 (as modeled) fit the second. If you have a look at an older Cherokee manual, you will see it is thin on information... nothing like today's POH's. The information (checklists) provided in the A2A Cherokee 180 manual is similarly presented in the Piper Cherokee "C" Owner's Handbook.

If one wanted to make a more detailed checklist, you could copy much from something like a Warrior II (PA-28-161) POH. Airspeeds will be different. And you will have to verify line by line with the older Cherokee Checklists. But you could have a detailed checklist that would be much more thorough - one like "today's" checklists.

Hello,

the manuals are included with the product. If you go to your start menu > all programs > A2A Simulations you'll find the manuals and aircraft config tool and input config tool.

thanks,
