Hi folks,
excellent rendition of the Annie, just beautiful, thanks so much!
I noticed these issues:
1) the mixture lever is inverted (e.g. in OFF position when set to full)
When the aircraft is loaded, the engines are running but lever is in OFF position.
2) already mentioned: yellow tips on spinning props + turn and slip gauge
3) headlight (light ON) position is incorrect (slightly off, behind the lamp)
Tried to fiddle around a bit but found the lights in aircraft.cfg disabled:
[LIGHTS]
//for/aft_left/right_up/down,
//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing
//light.0 =3, -18.550000, -46.300000, 0.650000, fx_navredm
//light.1 =3, 3.000000, 6.800000, -5.500000, fx_navgrem
//light.2 =3, -25.000000, 0.000000, -1.500000, fx_navwhi
//light.3 =1, -36.800000, 0.000000, 6.250000, fx_beaconh
//light.0 = 4, 2, 0, 2, fx_AF_Anson_vclight,
//light.1 =4, 0, -0.1, -2.8, fx_vclighth
Just to let you know, any chance for a fix or update?
Thank you very much.
Thanks and some issues
Re: Thanks and some issues
Are you loading from a saved flight? We had to use a bit of trickery to make the mixture lever control both engines so it might not work properly when loading from a saved flight.McGoose wrote: 1) the mixture lever is inverted (e.g. in OFF position when set to full)

yup they've been notedMcGoose wrote:2) already mentioned: yellow tips on spinning props + turn and slip gauge
The anson uses attachpoints for its light, so the cfg doesnt control them. I'll move it forward a bit.McGoose wrote:3) headlight (light ON) position is incorrect (slightly off, behind the lamp)

Re: Thanks and some issues
As McGoose says, beautiful aircraft. A joy to fly.
I think the mixture lever is OK. Some British planes of the tiem had the lever "backwards", and if you read the text on the console you'll see that "Weak" is full forward.

Re: Thanks and some issues
Thank you very much for the update!
Good improvement of an excellent plane.
However, the headlight still appears behind the lamp texture when switched on.
I can't upload pictures for some reason ("board attachment quota has been reached").
Thanks again.
