Hi,
I recently bought the 172 for P3Dv5 Academic at Orbx direct and didn't notice it was outdated. Their store shows version 19.12.27.0 as latest and yours 20.6.18.0. Can this be resolved here or should I contact them?
Outdated product at Orbx
Re: Outdated product at Orbx
I think the installer runs an automatic update at the end of the installation.
Re: Outdated product at Orbx
It doesn't. I also don't have the "check for updates" app.
Re: Outdated product at Orbx
I don't think there isn't one for v5 because it does it automatically. Sorry I can't be any help.

Re: Outdated product at Orbx
Hi GLVpilot and welcome.
Looks like there's just an issue with the version numbering in Orbx Central. We only supplied them with the P3Dv5 installation files in the second half of 2020, so the version you downloaded from Central will be the latest 20.6.18.0 standard, irrespective of the version number shown within Central. To make sure, I just checked with my own copy of Orbx Central, and it installs the latest files.
I'll drop them a line to advise of this issue.
Thanks and hope you enjoy flying the Skyhawk!
