Post by joetemerario »

Hi all,
i have a problem with the variable "L: Nav1Ident", it always returns zero, whatever the position of the pull ident. Am I wrong something?
thank you

Hi,

We checked this one with the guys, and apparently the L:Var for the NAV1 ident switch in the 172 is "L:Nav1PullIdent". Could you give this one a try instead?

Thanks,
Nick

Hi Nick,
can you help me with others Lvars?
I have mapped all GNS400 button and function and all works fine, but for VC Knob animation you in yours pdf file for C172 Lvars List, say this:

"......GPS inner knob push - toggle (L:GpsInnerKnobPush, bool) for VC animation, use (>K:GPS_CURSOR_BUTTON) event for GPS function....."

you say for the three vars (GpsInnerKnobPush, GpsOuterKnob, GpsInnerKnob), but no animation (instead for the others knob...example: ADF, COM1, COM2 ecc.. animation works fine).

Finally, I can't find a variable for the "Annunciator panel test switch".

thanks in advance for your help

Nick,
what with the advent of the new Honeycomb sets (Alpha Yoke, Bravo TQ), and the former Saitek/now Logitech panels still very famous, and both sets being (IMHO) very dependent on LVars: Could you publish lists of LVars for each aircraft, please. That way, we can ‚program‘ the sets so that they can work with every function of the aircraft. Mentioned here is the gear lever; I have problems programming the flaps lever of the Bonanza 35B in my Honeycomb Bravo. It only seems to know ‚fully down‘ or ‚fully up‘ nothing in between. I tried all the parametres like FLAPS_INCR and FLAPS_DECR but they, too, only move the flaps fully up or down.
Now I suspect that there must be another way to handle this... LVars come to mind. I tried to find them in the P3D v5 SDK, to no avail. Only today I read here that the LVars are aircraft dependent ... and thus the domain of the aircraft publisher.

I am very much looking forward to finding a link here, soon!😅

Hi Volker,

The L:Var listing for the 172 can be found in this post, which itself is linked in the FAQ thread. Most of the other Accu-Sim planes have similar documents which we've published on the forums.

Tomas's idea of including the L:Var list in the manual (or at least as an appendix to it) isn't a bad one for future projects. :)

Thanks,
Nick

Nick,

thanks for the list of LVars for the C172.
Can you point me to the rest of the lists, please? I have the Bonanza 35B, Comanche 250, Spitfire Mk II, (Bf 109E).
I have been trying to find other lists in the fora here, found only C172, Spit, Comanche, after much research.
Tx in advance!
Volker
