Gauge backlight issue / Radio stack isssue (yes I tried the LOD to 1)

Post by Jskibo »

With gauge lights off, looks OK except radio stack. I tried the LOD fix pointed out in other thread, stack still looks bad

Not sure what's bleeding through here with panel lights on, but can't fly at night like this

Hello Jskibo,

This certainly looks like the new bug in P3Dv5 where "COCKPIT_HIGH_LOD=" is set to 0 for some users with no apparent way of changing this in the UI.

Please can you double-check that this entry has been successfully saved in the Prepar3D.cfg as "COCKPIT_HIGH_LOD=1" in the "[Graphics]" section of the file. If you can copy and paste the entire contents of the Prepar3D.cfg file here, we can double check for any other odd entries.

Thanks,
Nick

Nick, you are correct sir. It kept reverting back to the old setting for some reason.

Finally have it working well and enjoying it. Can't wait to see the others, I may just have to buy the V-tail when the installer is ready.

Thanks for a great product!
