I have always used P3D at Medium Texutre setting 1024x1024. Texture for C172 cockpit seemed descent with readable fonts in the cockpit. But with the new update fonts have became blurry.
Now to have readable font like previous version i have to change texutre settings to High- 2048x2048.
Please fix the issue.

Re: C172 poor texture quality with new update.
Actually, that is not a fault but a design feature. The old cockpit textures do not have mipmaps, so if you set the graphics to 1024 you still get their native resolution of 2048 in-cockpit. The new PBR textures on the other hand have mipmaps. If you set it for 1024 that is the maximum you will see. Blurry fonts and blurry detail.
The same is true for the external view as well. Now that the PBR textures have mipmaps, if you set the graphics to High- 2048x2048, their native 4096 resolution is ignored and the max you will see is 2048.
Bottom line. You have to set it to Ultra - 4096x4096 for A2A PBR models, to get the full benefit. Inside and out. OR. Remove the mipmaps.
Steve.
Edit: One consequence of setting 1024 in graphics with a 4096 texture that has mipmaps.

Re: C172 poor texture quality with new update.
C172 is now officially awesome.
Well done guys. Incredible that major upgrades keep coming for no cost to us.
First rain effects, now PBR and dynamic lighting, AND you fixed the issues... all before Xmas.
Here's hoping the Comanche and Bonanza will be next on the list.
