Has the update fixed the color of throttle & switches from a gold color to more of a silver color?
If not, can we be given the option? OR Can I use the old version's colors?
Thanks.

One thing to keep in mind:
From what I have seen and heard, it seems that (re)shader tools can have unwanted effects on PBR objects.
If you use one, try a reset to default shader settings first, to see what the developer meant to make

Re: Switch & throttle color in PBR version
Yes shader mods are only going to make PBR issues worse rather than better for the most part So if flying at a time of day where the sun is reflecting funky colours on the metal parts, try clearing your shaders back to defaults is for sure pat of the troubleshooting.
If you want the PBR reflection lighting etc generally (as its a little rough around the edges) fixed I am afraid that's a P3D platform fix for the PBR implementation. Remember P3D do have there own support forums, filled with knowledge over there also to help you out on the more platform specific issues.
thanks,

Hello Adrian,
As I posted on discord its the sky colour mods etc you have installed that can cause a different colour over the default.
PBR is a live reflection for the models. So if you have a more yellow sky that's what will be reflected. I posted a shot on discord of what it looks like with the defaults with its more of a blue tint of the default sky colours.
thanks,

Re: Switch & throttle color in PBR version
Hi All
I have a similar effect in this and the Cub. No shader mods, but do use ASCA. It doesn't seem to change whether it's bright and sunny or grey and miserable - always kinda copper coloured. I'll try clearing the shader folder and see if it makes a difference.

Re: Switch & throttle color in PBR version
So, (going out on a limb here), if I understand it correctly, (and DON'T be afraid to correct me), If I want PBR to look good, I have to abandon the add-ons that I pad for to enhance the scenery and sky? Active Sky, PTA, ENVTEX(?)…???
Or are there "correct" settings for these products that does not return a negative effect?
IF abandoning the other enhancements is the fix, For as little return as PBR gives me, I would rather keep the scenery and shader enhancers. Make PBR a choice in the aircraft (if possible). I don't want to trade one for the other.
Just sayin....

Re: Switch & throttle color in PBR version
Not at all, but one needs to simply remember the limitations. Biggest and most obvious example is how using shaders and presets included in the products you mention you can set it so that chrome/metallic repaints don't work correctly in the sim. The workaround to this day is to not use those presets when using those aircraft and or tweak the presets so they are changed. The same will simply be true with this, should it be an issue for you.
The issue with the colour change will be utterly dependant as with settings you use, some will not be affected others may have a slight tint of one colour over the other others will have the rust bright gold that some have shown.
Its the same swings and roundabouts situation, its just the goal posts will move slightly.
thanks,
Lewis
