PBR Update and older Repaints

... do they work together? After the update I'm having only four liveries to choose from. Is it possible to use my older repaints (after some modifications) ?

Hi Harry,

Yes, as mentioned here, existing repaints are still supported because we've retained the non PBR models and textures.

The update replaces the aircraft.cfg file, so any installed repaints won't show at first. However, as mentioned in the post linked above, your existing aircraft.cfg file is backed up in the same directory as "aircraft.cfg.bak" so you can open this file with Notepad or something and copy and paste any custom repaint entries back into the new aircraft.cfg file.

thank you, I've overseen this two important sentences. Just to be clear, I can still use my old repaints, by copying the corresponding entries to the new .cfg, but I cannot use them with the model.pbr.

Hi Harry,

Yes, that's right. Any existing third-party liveries won't work properly with the PBR models which is why we kept the old non-PBR ones too.
