Hi I live in country Australia and our internet speed is VERY SLOW 320kbs can I purchase an aircraft via a buddy of mine who has high speed net and for him to put it on a stick and give it to me when we meet. He is not into flight sim and I will need to register him as a member.
How big a stick do I need?

Hi Ian and welcome,

It shouldn't be a problem for someone else to download the installer on your behalf. Assuming you're using FSX, the size of the installer is 228 MB. However, the online update here which you should run after installation does require an internet connection. However, even with your slow download speed, if you leave it for long enough, it should download the updates eventually.
