`I have purchased the C-172 A2A. Downloaded the Ziped file. Executed the install. It looks like it works. I see the planes in FSX. When I load a plane and try to fly, the plane is only in Chassis form. No skin, instruments or pilot in cockpit. The pilot is in the cargo area upside down. I have uninstalled and reinstalled as administrator multiple times. I have updated windows to current status.
When I open FSX it gives me an error message that says a program failed to load. I assume it is some piece of A2A. it does not say. Do I need Steam edition?

Thanks for opening the new thread. As mentioned, if you're using the original disk version of FSX, have you installed both the free service packs from Microsoft or the Acceleration pack? FSX-SE isn't required, but it includes the Acceleration pack.

Did just that after finding SP 1 and 2. Works great now. Thanks for all your help. The support on the site is tremendous!
