FSX A2A cessna Trainer hot keys

All of a sudden my aircraft won't show any of the hot key selections ie, "SHIFT+3" SHIFT+4, SHIFT+7 etc....
I get a quick flash of the display and it disappear right away.

first thing to check would be to see if your 2D Panels are set to transparent in your sim settings?
