Hi A2A!
I would like to re-create my cockpit which has a G500 and a GTN 650. I know that Flight1 and RXP both have these options. I believe the GTN 650 will go right into the C172 Trainer panel, but I am running into questions on the G500. Any idea how to get a G500 and GTN 650 into the C172 trainer? Would really like to practice my IFR work with my real avionics and plane.
FYI I am running P3D.
Thanks again for the help and keep up the great work!

Re: G500 and GTN 650 Integration
Hi Clockwork - welcome to the forums.
I'm afraid we don't have any immediate plans for retrofitting third-party G500 units to the existing Accu-Sim product line. This would require quite significant development time and at present other projects are taking priority.
That's not to say we're ruling out such changes in future, but it's not a trivial undertaking.
Because the existing 'steam' gauges are part of the 3-D model and use custom Accu-Sim variables, I'm afraid it's not likely you'll be able to integrate the G500 as desired.
Thanks,
Nick

Re: G500 and GTN 650 Integration
Hi Nick,
Thank you for the quick response. I completely understand. Worth asking just to be on the safe side. You might not want to answer this, but do you know of any C172's out there that does have the ability to add the G500 in? I would much rather use the great A2A 172, but since I am practicing IFR my priority is having the correct layout to practice my scan. Thanks ahead of time!

Re: G500 and GTN 650 Integration
Afraid I don't own the Flight1 G500/G600 Clockwork, so not sure if there are other C172 products on the market which provide native support. Your best bet may be to ask this question on the Flight1 support forums.
Cheers,
Nick

Hi Nick,
I apperciate the help. Maybe one day it will get added in, but until then I will stick with the trusty steam gauges
Thanks again!

Re: G500 and GTN 650 Integration
So I heard the G500/600 use the GTN 750 data to compile everything it needs, so if the current A2A aircraft work with GTN 750 you should be able to use the G500/600 in window mode right now, and if it works now in window mode it could be placed into the VC relatively easily but someone would need to see if it does in fact work in window mode, I don't want to buy it yet because it only has VC support in 2 Alabeo aircraft but it would be absolutely amazing to have full synthetic vision in A good FS aircraft, though I would imagine turning it off from time to time due to A2A having amazing steam gauges.
