GPS GTN750 Reality XP

Hi,
seeing from the C172 Configurator, I noticed that the GNS 430 and 530 are only supported on Reality XP.
I was interested in buying the GPS GNT 750 from Reality XP, which is compatible with P3D4.
If I had to buy it, can I use it on the C172 even if not on the C172 Configurator as a choice? Is there any way to install and use it?
I would not buy it and then not be able to use it...
