NO RAIN DROP C172 WITH F1 GTN

Hi guys,

I just had a strange issue.
I wanted to test the new raindrops on the recently released Cessnas and T-6. updates.
Unfortunately I could not see any, only on the 172.
As I did not understand why, I uninstalled and reinstalled it. It worked...until I swicthed my GPS option to Flight1 GTN750 AND 650 which is the option i used prior to uninstalling.
And if I revert back to default GPS, raindrops are back !
So there seems to be a small issue with that.

Same here, when i unselect the GTN option in the C172 configurator the raindrops are there, when i select the GTN option they are not there.

I found out, when i install the GTN option from the F1GTNconfigurator, i have the GTN and the raindrops.
Obviously the GTN is not integrated in the panel then, wich i would prefer.

There is something wrong with the A2A C172 GTN select option regarding raindrops.

Hello guys,

Sorry to hear you've been having some issues getting the rain effects to display with the GPS options in question. We're looking into these reports, but to help with this, please can you do the following.

1. Use the A2A Aircraft Configurator to select the default GPS option.
2. Then use it to select the F1 GTN option which you're using (please let us know exactly which one this is).
3. Navigate to the following folder: "Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons\A2A\SimObjects\Airplanes\A2A_C182\panel".
4. Then let us know if any of the panel.cfg files has a date modified stamp which ISN'T the 12 Oct 2018, and if so, which one(s).

Good evening Nick, thanks for looking into this.

I just did all the steps you mentioned (without prepar3d active of course).
The option I am using is Flight1 GTN Both.
At step 3 in your post I guess you made a typo, you mentioned the C182 folder and I have the issue with the C172.
In the C172 panel folder, ALL the panel.cfg files have a time stamp date 12 oct 2018.

Please can you now copy and paste the contents of the main panel.cfg file in that directory (i.e. the one called just "panel.cfg") into a reply to this thread; or if you prefer, upload it to somewhere like Dropbox and post a link here.
