C172 doesn't move

.... C172 stuck, doesn't move, acting like brakes are locked, applied all updates and still nothing, this Puppy is stubborn, ....(-:

Any help will be highly appreciated

Hello,

when you ran the updater did it update the C172 and Accu-sim?

Can you let us know what platform you are using?

Are you using third party scenery and have you tried default?

Is the aircraft working for you in the maintenance hangar, all good and fit for flight?

If using P3D make sure your default flight is with a default aircraft and to load this prior to loading the complex simulation, in this case our Accu-sim C172 Trainer.

The chocks doesn't do anything, if you don't remove them, they will disappear when you start rolling

Hello,

even if using FSX its still good practice to never load straight into a complex simulation and certainly never use one for a default flight, so check that out for sure. Also you mention Orbx and Vector but not if you have tried any default locations or which locations you are trying to load into?

okay Lewis, we made some progress, I loaded the update again, made 2 short flights some touch and goes and full stops shut down the AC and so far seems like be back on track, might need new set of plugs ...but other than that all looks good

I'll be back if something will go wrong

I use this Puppy as a training tool for the R/W so I'm trying to get as close as possible to the 'Real Thing"

Good to hear, I was wondering if it wasn't the default flight if maybe you where having simconnect errors meaning the engine wasn't on inside the code of the sim, this would also result in what you where describing.

Well given its occured before on your system it sounds like another simconnect issue for you. If you follow what you have done previously you'll be up and flying in no time. Something you are doing with your install procedure is causing issues for you requiring this little simconnect reinstall.

.. not sure why it is happening at first place, and it is happening only with this AC.....

I re-installed the update again and, sorry, but still the same issue

No sound when on exterior mode
The AC is literally stuck

I am away from my sim computer but seem to recall with ORBX that one of the settings for ground "resolution" has a huge effect on the mobility of A2A aircraft.

It is the one that has Metres as a base. Mesh Resolution??

May be worth a try. I think smaller metres = better movement ?
