Mindstar GPS no longer working, P3D 2.1 hotfix - RESOLVED

Since updating to P3D 2.1 the Mindstar GPS can no longer be powered in the A2A C172. The screen remains black. I have tried reinstalling the Mindstar software, switching my default flight and a bunch of other things but with no success. The default A2A GPS works fine.

Has anyone encountered this problem or know a workaround?

Mindstar just confirmed the GNS runs under P3D 2.1.

I did a full uninstall and reinstall and it's working again - the earlier "repair" did not fix it.
