No sound with cockpit view

I have no engine sound when using cockpit view. It works fine with virtual cockpit.
Any suggestions?

Yes, the internal sound only happens when in the actual cockpit.

You guys did a great job with the airplane but I want to use it for a full dedicated cockpit simulator. I don't need to use the virtual cockpit. How can I get the sound to work in regular cockpit view? No other airplane blocks the sound like this.

Just the model's dynamics are worth it for me but it would be nice to have an instrument 2d panel for cockpit builders like me. Please keep us in mind.

we are looking into if we can get a workaround but it would just be for you guys with full pits and could require some editing if at all possible.

Having just purchased the C 172 with the intention of using in my cockpit with a home built 2D panel. as you can imagine I was somewhat disappointed to find no access to engine sounds in this configuration.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Yes a no VC option is coming with the next update for cockpit builders.

For the sound issue please can you start a new thread so we can help troubleshoot the issue.

thanks Lewis. I use an XTOP Hardware Panel and generally fly with full screen scenery. Would be nice, to see that option, too.
