IAS in MPH Mod?

Post by idrather3eflying »

I recall seeing a post some time ago about someone making a custom backplate (image I assume) for the airspeed indicator in another A2A airframe, can't remember which one.

Our aero club operates a couple T-41Cs, which although decades older than the 172S, share enough in common to be a decent trainer for the model (including fuel injection and the 2600 RPM redline, albeit with 210HP, not 180) BUT...

The airspeed indicators are in MPH only. It would be really great to use the same speed references without conversions for a trainer. Anyone able/willing to do this or can advise on the feasibility of doing something like this?

Thanks!
