My vote for the next version of the 172 Trainer

Post by DLM4001 »

First, I love the 172 Trainer and flew it almost exclusively in FSX. I did the study level airliners for a couple of years, but resorted back to the plane I learned to fly in, the 172. (RL)

I am currently enjoying the new release of MSFS 2020 and I know you have a plan for your products. (these things take time).
When the time comes to consider and rebuild the 172 trainer, I want to cast my vote for the Steam Gauge version. I enjoy that version with and without the Flight 1 GTN 650/750 stack. (I really hope they remake that for MSFS2020 as well)
I could even see two 172 products. A circa 2000-2005 Steam Gauge and a circa 2020 model with Garmin 1000s and the new landing lights on each wing. Maybe one is an add on?
I miss having a persistent AC that I could love and care for. I miss the flight model too.

Thanks for what you do,
DLM4000

Completely agree. I bought the upgraded version of MSFS to get the semi-steam gauge version of the 172, but would love to see the 172R that was released for FSX in 2020, with the handheld GPS when needed.
