WHen I try to tune the DME in cessna 172... When I turn the larger nob I set the first part of the frequency, but when I try to manipulate the smaller nob, all I can do is push and pull it, I can not turn it and thus can only have .00 or .05 frequencies. Am I missing something?

Try turning the mouse wheel. This should turn the small knob and changing the .x or .0y numbers depending on the position of the knob (pulled out or pushed in).

For multi function switches remember to use the full FSX controls left and righty buttons + mouse wheel.

Thanks,
Lewis

Yes! that did the trick... the mouse wheel that is. I will try to remember that for other buttons etc.

It depends on the radio stack you use. If you use the radio stack with the build in GPS, the DME is not installed I think. This can be changed via shift + 3 menu.

Hi, I've had trouble accessing the downloads for the BendixKing/Honeywell handbooks.

When I click on the links, the download fails. I think this may be because the links, as shown, are not complete, as they include am ellipsis (...).

I tried reconstituting the links from their temporary appearance at the bottom of the Firefox page but this didn't work either.

I eventually found this URL, which takes you direct to the Bendix King download page:-

https://www.bendixking.com/Downloads/Documents

If you scroll down for long enough, you'll come to the KAP140 Autopilot and the Silver Crown Plus Avionics entries.

Hope this helps someone...
Regards,

Mark

Love that realism but I'd also like to be able to clean the gauges :) :)

Oh fantastic. I didn't see it in any manuals or anything.

I did a forum search on
"clean radio", "clean","cleaning panel" to no avail I fear.

The Aircraft doesn't support the G1000 as its the steam gauge C172R. The supported GPS options are Mindstar and RXP 5/430 and Flight1 6/750 units as third party integrated options.
