I don't think so.

They're working on a C172R model wich was not equiped with the G1000.
In my Opinion not the badest choice. I like the Steamgauge Version more than this sterile Glass Cockpits without any Soul.

They mentioned on a facebook post that they are not working on a G1000. I personally wouldn't want them to add it unless they could simulate it to a high degree. The "HD" Carenado planes with the G1000 don't really cut it in my opinion (you can't build a flight plan on them, for example). Soulless or not, glass cockpits are a large part of the future, and they're popping up in a lot of trainer aircraft, so it would be nice to see it simulated one day, but I'll be happy with the properly modeled 6 pack of instruments in this release.

In the future maybe an extension pack or something, but nothing planned at the moment. The simulated model is the C172R we had direct access too throughout and a few others we had access too on and off. There are multiple cockpit layouts and full RXP integration for those RXP customers.

Okay, this post caught my eye, Lewis. I did notice in the video that it wasn't a standard GPS500 in the cockpit. I thought it might be a 480. Are you saying the panel can take an RXP GNS530 GPS? Or just the smaller one? I have unlimited, but only 530's. I really don't like the small ones.

I'd love a G1000 but ONLY if it's a high fidelity one, on a par
to to the software addons that are available. Those come
at a pretty steep cost though, so I don't see them doing that.

However, what is doable, and I would love to see it, is Reality XP's GPS 530W
addon being added to the Panel. That is doable. Real Air Simulations did it for
their Real Air Lancair Legacy and it's a great addition.

Would love to see that added to the panel of the C172 in some future release.

Either GNS430 or GNS530.

Garmin 1000 cans be the next future expansion. Why not. Its a kind of Carenado strategy too and most of people (happy customers) bought expansions too, so for me - yep its a very good idea!

It is a GNS 400, the forerunner of the 430. The 400 is a GPS only, unlike the 430 which also handles NAV/COM. A2A probably chose to use a Garmin 400 to replace the Bendix KLN 89 installed in the Cessna we see in the film (probably because it can use the FSX database). Because the KLN 89 and GNS 400 are GPS only there are two Bendix NAV/COM units under it.
Will RXP integration also drop the second NAV/COM unit in the panel? It would be obsolete as the RXP Garmins are NAV/COM as well. You'll only need one Bendix radio as your second NAV/COM.
Oh, and as far as a G1000 version is concerned I'm not really interested. I like the old style panels much better.
Cheers, Bert

Just one more post to say that I would really be ready to pay for an A2A G1000.
I know it does not have the charm of the old steam cockpit but anyway, it is the only version Cessna is selling now, so we are going to see more and more of it.
I've been flying the G1000 version recently, and even if nothing in the G1000 is necessary, there are many features that simplify your life as a pilot.

Cheers everyone !

The Real Air Lancair Legacy comes standard with the RXP GNS530W GPS (BUT, you have to
own Reality XP GPS 530W) to use it. If you do, it comes ON the panel in the Legacy. Let me
see if I can get a pic of it for you. :) There you go :)

As I said, I have RXP unlimited for the GNS 530W. So that means I can have TWO 530's :)

Yeah it is quite expensive, hence I didn't bother with getting the 430's  Having two 530's in the Legacy is awesome for mountain flying, or VFR. I can use the second 530 for terrain or the screen with road numbers and lake names etc. It was a good investment for me

what's the advantage of RXP gauges over default or even A2A gauges? I don't have any experiences with RXP..

greets,
