Brilliant !
I wasn’t aware of the « l:AutopilotAltAlerter » LVAR which is a game changer…
Your sharing on this forum is priceless for home cockpit builders.
Thank you so much,

Re: Bendix King KX165 Radio
ADF as an addition to the stack.
Just need to finalise some of the timer functionality. Then I'll upload PCBs, faceplates & files for use.

--- Update -----
These are the files, PCBs, Face Plates and code used for construction.

- The module simulates the functionality of the ADF_K87 unit as per the A2A Cessna 172 and the manual.
- I have used a single encoder with push button. The Push button switches between MHZ/KHZ for all Frequency tuning and Countdown timer setting.
- The Flight Timer, Elapsed Timer and Count Down are all internal to the code in the Arduino and match the A2A Cessna 172 ADF. This saves constant Serial traffic from FSX/P3D to the Arduino.
- Both the Timers and the Count Down are mathematically corrected to show the accurate real time. My Arduino Mega clone has a CH340 chip.

Re: Bendix King KX165 Radio
Very nice work but my question about what do you use for displays for the instruments?
