Albatros D3. Pilot and Audio-Clicks.

Post by v57nl »

Hello there,
I fly the Albatros D3 with her latest update.
Everything super okay! And this plane makes a lot of fun !
But I thought there is an animated pilot (head moving) within the package.
And an Audio clickability available, also included in the package.
But neighter of the 2 options are working in my Albatros.
Maybe I am mistaken, and it is just not possible ??
Can anyone tell me more about this subject ?
Richard.

Hi Richard,
first of all, thanks for your kind words.
As for the pilot - it is animated, but the head/legs/arms are linked to the aircraft surfaces's animations. So, they are are not animated the way the Cessna or Piper Cub pilots are.
As for the internal sound for the levers and switches - there are no extra sounds. What I can recommend is to fly the plane with Accu-Feel which adds lots of fun to the plane, especially with the 'open cockpit' option turned on.

Best regards,
Lucas

Thank you so much for your answer !
I thought allready these 2 options are not possible for the price.
It does not matter anyway. The Albatros D3 has become 1 of my most beloved planes!
Price is Low !! But Quality is very High !!
"Why is a 1916 plane less than a Dreamliner of today ??" I really don't know. This is not a passengers question ! But for Aerodynamical freaks.
Richard.

Thanks, Richard!
Although simple speaking of the systems, we really wanted to make it "right". This is why I spent some time on the documentation and overall detail of the plane. Work was discussed with A2A leading artists Rob and Michal P who gave me plenty of good advices and made the whole quality control :) The rest was done by the fantastic Beta Team who provided excellent feedback.
This Alby is a niche plane (even for the WW1 standards) and we are very happy when someone posts here and is enjoying the plane.
